B vitamins play a variety of important roles in the body. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin B6, B9 (Folic Acid) and B12 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism and normal psychological function. Biotin (B7) contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin, while Folic Acid contributes to normal blood formation. These are all authorised health claims under EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006.
